Sabrina Ames

As you likely gathered from the home page, I’m Sabrina Ames,  the creative eye and quirky human behind Aurea Adventure Photography!


I fell in love with photography in 2010, when I got my first camera as a college freshman. Since then, my camera has taken me on quite the journey (both literally and creatively), and I’ve never looked back.


But I’m not just about photography, I’m a huge science nerd. Space exploration? YES PLEASE.  A forever student at heart, I love coming up with creative ways to showcase what you geek out about too.


When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll probably find me:

Rolling dice in a game of D&D

Getting my hands dirty in the garden

Riding trails or camping under the stars

Or hiking somewhere with no cell service (the dream, right?)

01.

I am originally from Arizona, but have spent the past decade making the mountains of Colorado home.

I am also a rocket scientist and once got to visit a rocket factory hidden in a bread factory.

I love exploring the world with my partner in crime and have been to 12 countries and 38 states.

Italy has the best food.
